Introduction: Welcome to a part of my world

My name is Alena Willbur, and I’m a writer that currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Or, I’m sort of a writer I guess. That’s pretty much one of the only consistent things about myself, about my life. If I’m being honest, I tend to change my mind about what I want to do or where I want to go or what I want to wear, but I’ve never changed my mind about my love for writing and books.

I also have a lot of dreams. As in literal dreams. Every time I go to sleep, I have these vivid dreams and I mostly to remember them when I wake up. And it’s in these dreams that I find a lot of ideas. And I find myself longing for something more than a “normal” life. I want to explore the earth, every nook and cranny (is that still a phrase?). I want to do that with someone, a partner, a soulmate, and yeah, I believe in soulmates. If there’s anything that I believe in, it’s that there are some occurences in life that we can’t explain with words, but we feel in our hearts. But because we can’t see it, some people don’t believe it. Our eyes, our SIGHT is only one of five senses we have though. There’s a reason we have more than one, and we need to use them.

Anyway, this is me. Or a part of me, anyway. I might rant, sound crazy, maybe have crazy ideas for sure, but it’s what’s constantly flowing through my head.

I love roses, the ocean, blue and gold, sun, and most of all, love. I love love.
